The Levi Alpine Chalets offer state-of-the-art accommodation, where high quality is a default. During peak season, the spaces are in heavy use and turnover is high. Ensuring safe and quick change overs, the spaces were protected with Nanoksi-180™ nanocoating solution.
The purpose of the nanocoating was to give the old toilets a new and fresher look, and to maintain that. There was no need for a renovation since the foundation was still in a good condition – deep cleaning and changing the silicone seams were enough to refresh the look of the toilets. After the treatment, dirt does not stick onto the material, thus cleaning becomes easier in between visitors. Nanoksi’s treatment eases and speeds up the cleaning process in washrooms. When washrooms are in top quality condition, customer experience is a positive one.
“Our washrooms got 5 – 10 extra years by only deep cleaning and changing of silicone seams. The protection gives the spaces a longer lifespan and cleaning becomes easier”, says Juulia Siikarla, Managing Director of the company.
Nanoksi’s specialist scanned and evaluated the spaces before the treatment to see which surfaces would be most beneficial to coat.
According to Siikarla, the application was “quickly and efficiently done by the Nanoksi team”.
A surface, that has been treated with Nanoksi-180™ nanocoating solution, resists dirt and grease. The usage of detergents, that damage the surfaces and are less environmentally friendly, reduces once the coating solution has been applied. The treatment protects the surfaces and gives them a longer life-span. The solution is Finnish, and a sustainable choice as it is chemical free.
“When we were going through the options, the service being domestic (Finnish) was a very important factor. Responsibility as well because we do not want to use strong chemicals and toxins in the cleaning process”, Siikarla emphasizes.
