Sustainable Development Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development

Viewing sustainable development goals, the inequality of geographical areas and the accumulation of problems in the same regions come to the fore. These areas must be involved in development to realize the goals and build a sustainable future. Therefore, the last goal of agenda No. 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, concerns the cooperation required to achieve all the program’s goals.

The increase in inequality has raised the need for international cooperation to a new level and requires concrete measures. The focus of a sustainable future is the development of global partnerships and the international integration of knowledge, expertise, and technologies. It requires effective and multidisciplinary cooperation and partnership between the public, private sector, and government actors. The flow of information and the pooling of expertise support national plans for implementing sustainable development goals through cooperation.

Goal 17 summarizes the program’s other 16 goals together. No actor can independently achieve goals without cooperation. In a global world, this is even necessary for the future of society and the prevention of crises that cross national borders.
