Fotonit® provides security and additional protection in the middle of a crisis

The city of Tampere will donate six buses to Ukraine owned by Tampere city transport TKL. The buses are decommissioned and in good condition, suitable for donation.

Three buses are sent to Kyiv, Tampere’s twin city, and three to the city of Ichnia. Volunteer drivers drive the buses to Tallinn, where drivers from Kyiv and Ichnia pick them up.

Aid supplies worth 10,000 euros are also taken to Ukraine in the buses. The aid supplies include equipment that the city of Kyiv says is in short supply, such as children’s and adults’ diapers, blankets, hygiene supplies, and heaters.

It is vital for Nanoksi to do our part to help the victims of the current humanitarian crisis. Especially in such a situation, we want to offer all the additional protection, security, and preventive measures possible. To increase safety, the buses are treated with Nanoksi’s antimicrobial Fotonit® coating, which helps to minimize health risks.

Thank you, City of Tampere and TKL, for the opportunity to be involved in these support measures.
