Guidelines for nanocoated surfaces

Instructions before and after nanocoating.

We always take care of the deep cleaning of surfaces, because especially old surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned before nanocoating. Deep cleaning is an accurate and multi-stage operation. It makes the surfaces look good and the nanocoating gets the best possible adhesion surface. New surfaces should also be thoroughly cleaned before coating, but the process will be much simpler.

The coating does not affect the everyday use of spaces or surfaces. It is good to dry the wet surfaces thoroughly with a spatula, as usual. Drying takes several litres of water from the floor and walls into the floor drain, reducing the humidity load on the room air.

The coating is typically touch dry for 2-6 hours after installation, but in some circumstances it takes longer to dry. The premises can be used when the surface no longer looks or feels damp.

After the treatment, water use should be avoided for the next 24 hours. After that, the surfaces can be watered, but they should still be dried well for 7 days. At this stage, the final chemical drying and hardening occurs. The extra grey and gauze coating can be wiped off with a microfiber cloth and normal use of surfaces may begin.

In most cases, warm water and microfiber cleaning tool, such as a microfiber cloth, is sufficient for cleaning. A softer brush can be used to clean the seams. If necessary, you can use commercially available mild detergents for cleaning.

The protected surface withstands tens of thousands of wipes with water and microfiber cloth. The use of highly abrasive detergents and equipment should be avoided. For example, rubbraining in bear tongue coating endures only a few hundred times.

Strong bases and acids reduce the duration of protection. The effectiveness of the weakened area can be restored by cleaning the area with a mild detergent. A suitable brush is used for the seams. The surfaces are also wiped and rinsed with plenty of water. This removes the impurities that have accumulated on top of the coating. If necessary, a completely damaged area may be renewed.
